The IMPRS-QBEE doctoral program provides first-class training to internationally outstanding students who are passionate about animal behaviour, ecology, evolution, physiology and neurobiology and are seeking a starting platform with a stimulating and competitive environment to give their careers a boost.

Requirements
Please note that you need to have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Doctoral research
In your application, you can select up to three research groups you are interested in. For details about research areas and participating research groups, please visit the Faculty page on our website.
Timeline and important dates
- All available PhD positions will be online on October 1st, 2024 and the application window will open. Candidates can now apply for positions of the IMPRS-QBEE doctoral program, starting in 2025.
- Application deadline: November 24th, 2024 (23:59 CET)
- Deadline for references: December 1st, 2024 (23:59 CET)
- Candidates will be pre-interviewed online in early January, 2025
- Candidates will be notified by January 17th, 2025, if they are to join the selection symposium. Please notify the coordinator, if you require a visa to enter Germany!
- The selection symposium is scheduled for March 10th - 12th, 2025.
