The IMPRS-QBEE doctoral program provides first-class training to internationally outstanding students who are passionate about animal behaviour, ecology, evolution, physiology and neurobiology and are seeking a starting platform with a stimulating and competitive environment to give their careers a boost.

Requirements
Please note that you need to have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Doctoral research
Currently, we only have one open position on this platform. For your application, you can therefore only select one project.
Timeline and important dates
- The available PhD position will be online starting 10. December 2025. Candidates can now apply for this position, expected starting date is early 2026.
- Application deadline: 13. January 2026 (23:59 CET)
- Candidates will be (pre-)interviewed (online) early 2026
